Solid Board Wood Style Fence

Solid Board Wood Style Fence The most common style of wood fence is the solid board style. It may be used for controlling noise, establishing visual barriers and marking boundaries. Fences five feet and higher are used for the containment of pets and children. Solid board fences are also used in commercial applications, as screens and to control access to restricted areas.

The solid board system consists of face boards, rails, posts, caprails and fascia boards. Fascia boards are horizontal fence boards that are placed at the top and bottom of the fence to give a more formal appearance.
