The process of installing an ergonomic keyboard arm to your desk is simple and straightforward. All you need is a desk with a surface at least 1 inch thick and made of a material which you can drive screws into. You will also need an ergonomic keyboard arm.
Choosing an Ergonomic Keyboard Arm Design
The most important step in the whole process is picking out the most appropriate design for your needs. The biggest factor to consider is the size of your desk. The wider the tray, the wider your desk must be. You need to consider how much space you will need to hold your keyboard and mouse comfortably, and with room to move.
Once you have selected the best ergonomic keyboard arm for your specific setup, attach the track to the underside of your desk using small screws and a screwdriver or hand-held drill. The screws should be provided with the tray. If not, any 3/4 inch or shorter wood screw should work. Once these screws are attached the tray should be fully functional.
