Project Summary

We installed a solar air heater / collector on the south wall of our basement walkout to help heat our basement.
The installation took a full 8 hour day, including the additional 1.5 hours for the duct line & ceiling ducts (not part of a usual installation as these devices are meant usually to heat the room directly opposite from where the unit is installed on the outside with a wall mount install).

We decided to not use the brackets delivered with the unit but go with more 'traditional' brackets which we felt would hold the unit on the wall better.

So far, it's working very well ... when the sun shines!
